What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Some are needed for the site to work at
all — without them your cart would empty every time you opened a new page. Others tell us how the
site is being used, which helps us fix what is slow or confusing.
What we use
Strictly necessary — always on
These cannot be switched off, because the shop stops working without them.
- WooCommerce — remembers what is in your cart and carries you through checkout
(woocommerce_cart_hash,woocommerce_items_in_cart,
wp_woocommerce_session_*). They last from the end of your visit up to two days. - WordPress — keeps you signed in if you have an account
(wordpress_logged_in_*) and remembers your cookie choice. - Stripe — our payment provider sets cookies to process your payment and to spot
fraudulent card use (__stripe_mid,__stripe_sid). Without them we cannot take
card payments safely. - Caching — serves you the right version of a page and keeps the site fast.
Analytics — only if you agree
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, tells us which pages people
visit and where they give up. The data is collected by Google. - Jetpack Stats counts page views.
These do not run until you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time.
Advertising
We do not run advertising or retargeting cookies. If that ever changes, this page will say so before
they are switched on.
Fonts
Pages on this site load fonts from Google. Loading them sends your IP address to Google, even though
no cookie is set.
Changing your mind
Use the cookie settings link on this site to change what you allow. You can also delete or block
cookies in your browser — every major browser has this under Settings → Privacy. Blocking the
strictly necessary ones will stop the cart and checkout from working.
